System
Commander 8 includes all of the latest user
interfaces. The following is intended for System Commander
7 users,
which
did not include different
user interfaces in the shipping product. SC7 VUI files
are NOT compatible with System Commander 8.
System
Commander 7 gives you the ability to pick different graphical
user interfaces or 'skins". You can download different
skins here or you can create or modify a skin for your
personal
preferences. VUI skins control the appearance of the
background tile, colors, borders, icons, and the way
System Commander
operates at boot time. Go to our Change
log for a list of changes and updates.

you wish to know more about creating or modifying VUI files,
go to our VUI Design Center.
The "vui" file is all you need to use the selected
visual interface. VUI files are typically under 400 KB in
size.
The optional zip file contains the design files for the
specific skin. The "zip" file and additional files
are necessary from the design center if you wish to change
the appearance or design.
To
Activate a VUI file
After
downloading the VUI file you wish to use, it must be loaded
