Older versions of Solaris
uses the same partition ID as the Linux Swap partition, and
until formatted, cannot be told apart. After creating a Solaris
Partition, but before Solaris formats the partition, most utilities
will report it as Linux Swap. This is not a problem for the
Solaris installation. System Commander will correctly identify the partition once Solaris is installed. |
