| |
| |
|
| |
The
NT OS Loader will only boot from a primary partition starting
within the first 2GB of the first physical hard drive. |
| |
|
| |
The
Windows NT directory must reside in a partition within the first
4GB of a physical hard drive. |
| |
|
| |
NT
installs its OS Loader into the active primary partition. |
| |
|
| Special
Warnings |
| |
|
| |
Windows
NT 4.0 is supported by System Commander version 3.0 and above.
|
| |
|
| |
Running
Windows 2000 in another partition can alter the NT partition
so that it no longer functions properly. See our FAQ - Why
does Windows 2000 corrupt Windows NT? |
| |
|
| |
If
you are installing Windows NT into a logical partition, and
plan to leave unpartitioned space for other operating systems,
you should manually create the NT partition rather than allow
NT installation to create it. |
