  Notes

The NT OS Loader will only boot from a primary partition starting within the first 2GB of the first physical hard drive.

The Windows NT directory must reside in a partition within the first 4GB of a physical hard drive.

NT installs its OS Loader into the active primary partition.

Special Warnings

Windows NT 4.0 is supported by System Commander version 3.0 and above.

Running Windows 2000 in another partition can alter the NT partition so that it no longer functions properly. See our FAQ - Why does Windows 2000 corrupt Windows NT?

If you are installing Windows NT into a logical partition, and plan to leave unpartitioned space for other operating systems, you should manually create the NT partition rather than allow NT installation to create it.
