Final Bid 3 silently monitors select auctions, placing the lowest bid above the current price approximately one minute before auction close. Until bidding closes, the software aggressively counters all bids in the smallest increment allowed, up to the user's pre-set purchasing limit. This tactic, used by professional bidders, makes it difficult for competitors to manually counter the final bid, typically leaving the winner paying much less.
The latest version of Final Bid allows frequent eBay shoppers to access their "My eBay" account from within the software's toolbar and menu option. This creates an online "Auctioning Command Center" enabling eBay shoppers to employ Final Bid 3 without the hassle of managing separate programs in the process. Also new to version 3 is a powerful search engine that can locate specific sellers or desired items. This advanced search tool allows users to view the progress of all current bids within selected search criteria.
Final Bid 3 includes a sophisticated auction management tool to organize and save historical bids, items of interest, pictures and much more. The software also features a "Group Bidding" option which allows users to monitor and bid on identical items simultaneously. Once an item is won, the program automatically stops bidding on remaining items, helping ensure that the item is secured at the lowest price.
Final Bid 3 does not require any separate transaction fees and automatic program updates are available via the Web. Other features include:
