today the release of their newest product, Partition Commander® 8.
At an SRP of $49.95, Partition Commander makes it easy to partition
your hard drive. A user can reclaim wasted disk space, organize
files, add new operating systems and in many cases speed up drive
access.
New
in Partition Commander 8 is the ability to safely resize partitions
for
all partition types used by Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP/2003
and Linux ext2, ext3, and ReiserFS. This is in addition to being
able to create, delete, copy
and move any OS type partition. Other exclusive features include:
our Partition Wizard™ that automates partitioning tasks, BackStep
Wizard™ which let’s you UNDO multiple prior partitioning tasks,
the ability to convert NTFS and compressed NTFS to FAT/FAT32
and back or convert a Windows
2000/XP/2003 dynamic disk back to a basic normal disk.
Other
powerful new features include NTFS performance optimizations
including
NTFS cluster resize and Master File Table (MFT) defragmenter,
BootFixer™ to automatically correct startup problems in NT/2000/XP/2003
due to BOOT.INI. Partition Explorer lets users look
into normal and hidden FAT, FAT32 and NTFS partitions and view
and edit text files within those partitions.
Partition
Commander installs and runs from both Windows and DOS, and also
provides complete operations from an included boot CD, with the
same fully functional mouse-driven graphical UI. This allows users
to work on a system with a blank drive - no OS is needed! Partition
Commander 8 also supports systems with huge drives, 200+ GB.
Another new
addition to Partition Commander 8 is VCOM's Copy Commander™ to
transfer all the contents of one drive to another. This makes
it easy to switch to a new faster, larger drive by also expanded
partitions to fit the new drive.
As in prior
versions, the powerful System Commander® Personal Edition has
also been included to seamlessly run multiple OSes on your PC.
With

OSFinder™ technology,
